ON THE PIER OF THE PORT
In the port area beside the Sibelius-building you will find stands, terraces,
cafés, a ship restaurant, an event place and lots of other things
to see. The inland water cruisers to Vesijärvi and Päijänne
part from here.
SPORTS CENTRE
On the main arena of World Championship slalom competitions and the skiing
competition of Salpausselkä, you can find among other things, the
skiing museum and the most preferred place for fair trades, Suurhalli.
SLALOM
The choice in the Messilä leisure centre is versatile in the winter:
you can ski downhill or cross-country, you can do Nordic walking or climbing…
GOLF
There are three proper golf fields in the area of Lahti: Takkula, Messilä
and Vierumäki.
